OUR MISSION & PURPOSE

The purpose of Local Makers is to encourage, empower and equip our neighbors who are gifted with and passionate about creating quality & unique handcrafted items.

It is our mission to provide opportunities for them to take these skills from their living room to the public to sell their wares and share their stories.

What Sets Us Apart

LM members work together to build one another up. We collaborate and show up as a crew. Our markets are well organized and each Maker is part of a whole vs individual. Our retail locations are carefully maintained on a regular basis and continually overseen, ensuring visible interest and quality of product. Coaching is offered to Makers if their products are not selling. Our saying is that we want their items to "SELL, not sit". We offer our members community, collaboration, and small business workshops aimed at helping them succeed.

MINI MAKERS

Our members believe in supporting the next generation of creatives and entrepreneurs. We offer them free booths at our event and coordinate with the families to create a positive experience.
